ScholarshipsEach year's recipients will receive a certificate of recognition during special ceremonies at summer programs of Convocation and Sigma Pi University, as well as being listed in the Fall Emerald magazine. There will be no limits to how many students are honored with this award. Nominations for scholarships and awards are accepted throughout the academic year. Any brother of Sigma Pi can nominate himself for any scholarship for which he feels he is qualified, and an undergraduate or alumnus of Sigma Pi, a chapter, the chapter scholarship committee, or an alumni club can submit nominations of qualified people. The size of awards is dependent upon the interest accumulated from the scholarship fund during the prior fiscal year (July 1 through June 30). Scholarships can range in size from $250.00 to over $5,000.00. Sigma Pi Fraternity, International's Educational Foundation Committee on Loans and Scholarships reviews applications, selecting the applicant best meeting the criteria for that award.
